I was a disciplined dancer who gave up on her dreams after a rare autoimmune diagnosis. I masked the chaos well. Straight A's, corporate job, the appearance of holding it together, while living with undiagnosed CPTSD, restricting food, dulling my connection with stimulants, and drowning my feelings with alcohol.

The thing that finally broke me open was being sexually assaulted a month before my wedding. It reactivated something my mind had buried since childhood. Something only my body remembered. That rupture sent me down an alternative path: Acupuncture. Energy work. Dance. Sound therapy.

And slowly, my body started to return to me. The autoimmune disorder faded. The anxiety loosened its grip. I began to realize I had always had these gifts, they were just confusing when i was in survival mode.

Before I had words for any of this, I was already reading energy. Patterns in people before they could see them in themselves. The wound behind the story.
